A friendly community workshop in Newbury, Berkshire, where men of all ages and skill levels get together to make things, fix things, share knowledge and enjoy great company.
Men's Sheds are community spaces where men can come together to pursue practical interests at their own pace and in their own way. They are modelled on the traditional backyard shed — a place to be creative, to learn, to fix things and to socialise.
At Newbury Men's Shed we believe that friendship, purpose and skills are great medicines. Whether you're a seasoned craftsman or have never held a tool in your life, you are very welcome here.
We are a not-for-profit community group, established in 2026 and proud to be a registered member of the Men's Sheds Association UK.

Whether you want to learn a craft, share your expertise, work on a project or simply enjoy a good chat over a mug of tea — the Shed has something for you.
A well-equipped workshop with tools and machines for woodworking, CNC routing, laser cutting, metalwork, 3D printing and electronics.
Members share their knowledge freely. Learn a new skill, teach what you know, or work alongside someone experienced — the Shed is built on this exchange.
Regular coffee mornings, social events and community projects. Sometimes the most valuable thing at the Shed is simply having someone to talk to.
